Here's the final version of Illustration 1 ("The Bridge")
Give me the Go, I'll post a handful of sizes and formats.
I'll also include the version below with the white area to the left of the image.
I like the balance of it, and a graphic designer could include text in there or not, depending on the illustration's application.

09.23.07 Based on your responses and in my studying the concepts, I've decided on a direction (for 1 of the 2 illustrations, at least).... I've been developing an idea based on synthesizing concepts C5 , C6 and C7 What I found appealing, and perhaps you did, too, is that they each have a sense of place, a horizon line creating a sort of setting.... I plan on developling this concept further,
into a sharper, more cohesive illustration...
ideas are starting to pop up in regards to text; things like,
"E.L.L.A is your bridge to consolidate all of your equipment lease agreements..." or what have you....
for the Website, I envision a nice Flash animation, using this illustration,
a sort of Defrag could happen from one side of the bridge to the other...
(i don't work with Flash animation, but i do have a colleague who does...)

09.17.07 I've been brainstorming and came upon an idea I'd like to explore further (for the ELLA illustrations). I'm visually relating the business with the act of Defragmenting {consolidating space] (a computer's hard drive). I've been collecting some "DEFRAG" screen shots and creating sketches from them:

i'm looking at some of the work of Piet Mondrian
.... specifically his "Composition Paintings", as visual inspiration ...
Here's two examples of them :
I'm not getting as organic as these, but I love the special, hand-made attention to every shape in these pieces;
and i think If my illustrations carry that sense of sensitivity to each line and shape, it would be a
positive reflection of the business' customer relations: careful and custom-tailored....
